We're back! No exhibition, it's the real deal.

Northwestern (0-0) hosts Binghamton (0-0) to start the season at Welsh-Ryan Arena. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. and will air on BTN+

Really need more concentration on defense. This is not a lack of Audige thing. Lack of focus in the first 4 minutes.

Looks as if the only Wildcats who brought energy from the opening tip are in the band and the student section.

So far, their offense is getting a lot of open shots and they are making their free throws - and the cats are scoring … poorly.

Ty got benched for some bad play, hasn’t seen a lot of court so far.

I think the first half answers all the naive and misinformed bellyaching about why we didn't play the bench more in the exhibition.

These guys are not a cohesive unit yet, and it shows, particularly on D. Every minute this new starting 5 can get on the floor together in a real game is a minute that makes them more competitive (hopefully) later in the season.

No, now it ends

Although with the current state of world affairs this hits a bit close to home

In other news, still no Gragg sighting. Did a sponsor presentation most of last year during the first half before he split for his Spaghetti dinner back in Glenview.

The Bearcats (whatever that is) are doing suicide drills to start the 2nd half. I'm getting Chicago Bears Defense vibes from this game right now

We replace a guy with a bad ankle with a guy with a big *** knee brace. Going to be a long year.
