It’s working but awful broadcast. Frames per second is really poor. Announcers sound is also poor. But it allows to see the Cats, so there’s that
So far Young looks comfortable running the floor but CCC is limiting his minutes. The scoreboard is malfunctioning or the operator has fallen asleep. Player stats and shooting percentages are all messed up.
I don’t disagree. But if we use a “second 5”, which is today Buie with 4 bench players, as a rotation, we will have a lot of problems. We will not score.
Remember Audige is not playing. This team can go 11 deep with him. Barnheiser hasn’t even played. It’s game 1 and we’re up 11. Defense looks good. Gotta look on the bright side.
I’m not watching but it looks like the consistent foul trouble for Nance and Young may be back for another year.
Nice little 10-0 run here for the Cats, extending the lead to 75-48. First games can be weird, glad we're closing this one out without any drama.

I don't love the sound of "short indefinite" on Audige. Hopefully we can get him back before the Legends Classic.

I thought I heard that Barnhizer had surgery or was hurt over the summer. He only played 11 mins last Thursday. Maybe they are letting him heal?
Mine too, from the main camera. The lower camera, which they didn’t use much, was a little choppy. Tre Demps did the color commentary and I think he gives some good insights from the inside.
I did not have video or sound cut out. But the sound level of the commentators is weird, if they get excited it distorts. Maybe it's their own inexperience. And the video, motion is poor for me. I don't have any issues with any other streaming platform, so I assume it's not my broadband.
I was surprised by the quality of the video. I have 500mbs internet, connected to HDTV with HDMI cable. I did silence the sound intermittently but not because of quality issues
I did end up signing up for BTN+. The stream was okay for me. Audio was fine and video was only slightly choppy, but definitely watchable.
I was watching on a bit of a delay - started watching at around 7:40pm - and things were fine until about 4 min left in the game, when the stream suddenly went missing for a while. It came back after about 5 min so that I could watch the end of the game.

I'm really quite surprised that the combination of Northwestern University and the BIG Network puts out such a crappy product. I guess I could understand if it was free and put out by students without much support, but $10 a month is what a basic Netflix subscription costs. I wasn't able to watch the other night, so I didn't bother to sign up, but reading through all this, I'm glad I didn't. I still don't understand why they can't play all the games on the main network as they do for football. I was able to see most of the other BIG teams play their cupcake games this week.
Because there are at least 4-5 B1G teams playing OOC games every night and only 2 BTN time slots for them. I turn the sound way down on BTN+ because the announcing is so amateurish, but find the video quality is fine. If it is between paying $10 or not seeing the games at all I spend the dough.
I'm guessing BTN puts the games on the main channel that will get the most eyeballs, and face it, NU has the fewest eyeballs in the league.
