Early observation: Page is going to be really important this year. He already feels very different from Nicholson.

Sucks we can't see West and Reid today. Kind of need ball handlers against this pressure.

Wyndham not getting many minutes. Clayton getting the minutes at PG with Reid out.
Green hit 2 long bombs, looks like a player.
Singleton definitely looks the part, will be a stud.
Page definitely more of an offensive presense than we have had in awhile at center. Nice stroke from 3. Probably a bit too aggressive with the ball on the offensive ends, but is drawing fouls.
Nick has a few turnovers and offensive fouls, but has had some nice right-handed finishes to the hoop.

Singleton is a very good player great handle almost playing point forward sometimes. Is mentioned above really surprising that KJ Harley plays at all given the transfer point guard isn't even available today.

Missed start and have been on split screen with NFL, so take these comments with a grain of salt. Need PWB’s +/-for the real skinny.

Iowa Stare has their version of a screamer. Green isn’t bashful, has to be faster on rotation. Page moves well for his size. Not sure who our back up big is this year. Nick is playing a lot. We are getting smoked on the small lineup. Singleton will probably have the Frosh up and downs, but he’s for real. Our defense especially on 3’s needs work. KJ glued to bench .

Nick still needs to work on his handle. KJ and Mullins seem like odd men out for some reason now. Ciaravino looks good both on offense and defense

Now we can see how the game will go without our starting point guards or our experienced players (except Nick).

Iowa State defense involves tons of reaching in and double teaming from behind - that got Nick a couple of times. I think an experienced and reasonably quick point guard would be able to turn all those grabs at the ball into free throws, but they're pretty good at it.
