MSU is always very tough. I am hoping to see a strong game from Nance which I think would be 12+ points and his normal stats in other categories (he is leading us in rebounds, blocks, and steals). I am also interested to see if Kopp has a Pitt-type game or if his shooting will be there against a high caliber defense. Go ‘Cats!

I know how this plays out, NU jumps out to a lead in the first half. MSU claws back and eventually overwhelms Cats on raw talent. This board goes bonkers calling for CCC’s head.

Izzo did seem to give up earlier than you’d expect (no full court double teaming, etc).
Seemed to me he wanted to send his team a message. To have an embarrassing defeat - not so much for losing, but for losing with lack of effort and trailing the entire game. Teaching moment?
The team played with tons of confidence and had fun out there. CCC mentioned in the post game presser that they learned a lot battling as a young team last year, and it's showing now. He also said that his high school aged kids follow all the rankings and projections chatter, and he just tells them to shut up.
