He got the one block out on the wing that Refs could not do anything about. The other foul was one where you just knew they were calling before he even jumped. He had a great 2nd half. He has confidence for sure. Williams did not play great but also did not stink it up like some saying. He had 8 rebounds, he was in the head of the 2 centers and he bruised them both up legally. He pushed, pulled bumped in a way that they did not call a single foul. He took way too many shots but he did make a few, ugly shot for sure. That one rebound was crazy, went up high and went up hard for the ball. He also looks good bringing the ball up the court. Kerr was in their heads as well. Was fun to watch him. He just needs better shot selection. One shot was not his fault, no time on the clock, 2 others were too far out. That those 3 away and he was like 2 of 6 or something like that, more respectable.

I’m not normally a ā€œnext yearā€ kind of guy, but somewhat getting back to the old model of CBB, it’s nice to see guys who show flashes of potential that you know could take a huge leap in the next season. Oweh and Garrison could be cornerstones to another top 5 team again

Rewatching the 2nd half, and I failed to notice the first time all of the little things Garrison did to help us will this victory. Hell of an effort (and the foul on Proctor on the 3 was BS. He did not come down straight up and down).
He was pretty bad 1st half. 2nd half he really surprised me. How about that 3 he hit? Toe on the line so it was a two. But wow. Who knew he had that range? And nice form on his jumper too. Active on the glass, always ready for a tip in. Solid defender. If he comes back next year, he's a problem.

Forgot who. But some writer or analyst said he's putting UK #1 if Oweh comes back.

The dude is young and rough around the edges but you can see the hunger in his eyes when he is on the court. Like NumberOne said above, his range surprised me. When he shot it I was like no no no...yes yes yes. That ability opens up the entire offense and makes it possible to play him at the four in a pinch.

Also showed a little bit of range coming up with a huge FG on that deep 2-point shot just inside the 3-point line.
Man i rewatched that thing 3 or 4 times and couldnt tell if his toe was on the line or not. It was razor close and should have been blown up to zoom size to tell ala Sparks shot v State in E8.

If Garrison can improve his post play offensively next season we could be really good again if we can get Otega and Almonor back with the players we have coming in.
Garrison will be a star if he can shoot threes reliably enough to play the role that Aly Khalifa played for BYU last year.

Why would he leave? Especially if we have a great season. He will start next year and will get some extra money.
Agree, why would him or Oweh leave, both said they never thought they would have a chance to play at a school like Kentucky, it's unlikely either of them will leave. Winning and exposure means a lot to kids that have played elsewhere and never experienced what it's like to play at a place like Kentucky.

Oweh may leave because if we keep winning (and expect us to), the NBA may come calling -- he has ice in his veins.

Garrison impresses because he comes in and hustles... does so many different things. Just have to work on his low post hook shot, and post moves in general...
