I just saw on the news that several states are selling gas under $2 per gallon. Why is it so high in Ky.

I was traveling north on I-75 and Corbin had it at $2.15 and after that it kept climbing.

Oil is the cheapest it's been in 6 yrs.

Gas price here in Evansville, Indiana. is $2.75. Was $2.99 a few days ago. Went up to Columbus, Ohio because my gf wanted to go to a 1D concert, and the cheapest gas price we saw was $2.55 :(

There's a refinery in Indiana that's been down for a couple weeks, creating a shortage in supply. Therefore the price has spiked upwards in the midwest. Once that refinery is back up and running you will see gas drop back to around $2.00 a gallon.

Gas varies by as much as 30 cents within 30 miles here. I filled up at the Murphy's today for $2.05.

So one refinery in Podunk Indiana effects the price like war in the Middle East...how convenient.
