How soon do you think we hear whether he is N or not? Having seen both schools again and cancelling all his other visits I think he has to be close to a decision. I'm hoping he commits before the spring game and comes with Keyshawn to recruit some more talent to NU!!!! What are everyone's thoughts?

Let's just put it like this...
If he was going to commit to Ole Miss he would of done it surrounded by all the pomp and circumstance.

I hope you are right, but the fact that he started following Ole Miss coaches on twitter is not a good sign. Fingers Crossed on this one.

Just an outsiders take (and i've done my reading fwiw)...seems like a situation where he wants to say yes to NU but is having a hard time saying no to Ole Miss.

Probably just a normal human reaction to hear what they're saying given the situation.

That and it makes perfect sense, and is perfectly respectable, to keep lines of contact open, especially when your Dad played there. Look, I don't expect it to happen, and I sure as hell hope it doesn't, but if the bottom falls out on us next season and we have another losing record, it makes a lot of sense for a recruit to at least have an open and amiable line of contact with this next best choice. This doesn't make him an adulterer, it is simply the prudent thing to do.

Right. There was this Texas QB Jevan Snead who lost the QB battle for starter to Colt McCoy. Snead later transferred to Ole Miss. There's where keeping that lines of contact open may help him later if he chooses (or doesn't get chosen) to lead the Huskers.

Yep, another good reason. My wife is about to accept a new job at a bigger firm that will play her a lot more money. She is not going to burn the bridge with her current employer, as it is a great firm itself. Who knows what the future may bring, sometimes you end up back where you began. So no harm in following the coaches of a school you're interested in.

Fingers crossed.
That Gebbia vs McCaffery pillow fight thread is going to look awfully ridiculous if he commits to Ole Piss
