It was an "honor and privilege" to serve Ohio State, Buckeyes athletic director Gene Smith said Wednesday while announcing that run will end in 2024.

There's a guy who outmaneuvered us bureaucraticly for years. It helps when you wake up every day on third base but man he ate our lunch.
Lately he's acted as more of a mouthpiece for the conference than the commissioner. By design or was it just his ego?? Either way, it'll be nice to have someone speak for the conference who isn't employed by a member university.

He’s a scheming, corrupt, dbl-taking, shady dude that somehow positioned himself on every important sports committee. I don’t know how Da O$U continues to land those type of roles, but they do. They are definitely the “dark net” of college athletics and over-invited, and entirely self-interested. I am sure some corruption is catching up to him that that shady-arse skool will try to be minimizing
