The Seahawks don't have a line. They have 2 good WR's though. No really good slot or TE option. Definitely a better situation than the Jets ever gave Geno, but not as good of a situation as say Tampa Bay. Against 2 decent defenses in the Steelers and Saints he looked very pedestrian. At home against the floundering Jags he looked good. I think he's going to have to show a little more before any NFL team thinks to bring him in as competitor for a starting job or a desperation play like say a Tyrod Taylor or Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Good post IMO. Personally I agree with you. Not sure how someone can say Seahawks don’t have good WRs for Geno to throw to. His top 2 WRs are very good. The others are fine. That guy doesn’t know much if he thinks that.

Completed first 14 attempts, MOST by an NFL QB this season!
83.3% completion rate was 4th best in Seahawks history!
Threw for 2 TDs and ran for another in spectacular fashion!

Dude pointing out that Geno has not been good at any point of his NFL career doesn’t make someone a hater. Ben Roethlisberger was great for a long time. A Hall Of Fame QB without question. The last half of last year and the first part of this year he’s been horrible. That doesn’t make me a hater. Geno Smith has been a massive 2nd round disappointment. Geno did get a bad draft going to the Jets, but his ego and mouth didn’t help his cause while there. He may not get as far as Leftwhich (sorry if I miss spelled his name) but he could get into coaching at the college or pro level. Leftwhich is on his way to a head coaching position.

One poster is realistic about a back up QB that had a solid day against possibly the worst team in the NFL after a below the line game against New Orleans an average game against the Steelers. Other posters make an effort to make Geno Smith more than he is which is a career back up that has had a disappointing NFL career based on his draft expectations.
