He was awesome in the 1st half. Then in the 2nd half, the Seahawks put the training wheels back on the offense and it sputtered big time. What I saw last night leads me to believe that the offensive coaches do not trust Geno Smith yet. Sad.Solid play, even a nice run, looked sharp! And well spoken post game, so happy for him.
6-11 in second half. Perhaps he was giving them a reason to not trust him. He had no INT's which is what he has been most famous for in his career so far. It's game 1.He was awesome in the 1st half. Take it to the michigan board....or the marshall board...oh wait...you were banned from that one...sorry.Denver coach should start looking for a job. 4th and 5, and you have a quarterback you just paid tens of millions of dollars per year, and you elect to kick a 64 yard field goal instead of going for it with the 40 million dollar man.
If you lack the intelligence to talk sports, take it to a kiddie porn board where you seem to be a better fit. BTW, who is banned from a Michigan or Marshall board?Take it to the michigan board....or the marshall board...oh wait...you were banned from that one...sorry.
The playcalling in the 2nd half was much different than the 1st half. Aggressive downfield routes/throws compared to screens and short routes.6-11 in second half. Perhaps he was giving them a reason to not trust him. He had no INT's which is what he has been most famous for in his career so far. It's game 1.
The FG was long enough. It missed by a foot or so. I'd say the call was the right one.Denver coach should start looking for a job. 4th and 5, and you have a quarterback you just paid tens of millions of dollars per year, and you elect to kick a 64 yard field goal instead of going for it with the 40 million dollar man.
He totally broke his relationship with RW if nothing else.Denver coach should start looking for a job. 4th and 5, and you have a quarterback you just paid tens of millions of dollars per year, and you elect to kick a 64 yard field goal instead of going for it with the 40 million dollar man.
Yup didn't understand it, but maybe their run game was so bad they were trying those to get to 3rd and shorts. The playcalling in the 2nd half was much different than the 1st half. Aggressive downfield routes/throws compared to screens and short routes.
I disagree, and here's why. Before I explain why, I'll let you that many NFL kickers have the distance from 64 yards out, but kicking it between the pipes from that distance is where the difficulty comes into play. The FG was long enough. It missed by a foot or so. I'd say the call was the right one.
Different or not I do not believe it to be intentional. The playcalling in the 2nd half was much different than the 1st half. Aggressive downfield routes/throws compared to screens and short routes.
Only way you make that call is if you have Justin Tucker. Even then with that much time on the clock, it's hard to agree with.I disagree, and here's why. The call was a bad one, because you have only a 20% historical chance of making a 64 yard field goal. On the flip side, you have close to a 45% chance of making it on 4th and 5, particularly with one of the games best quarterbacks.
