Building that bond with players goes a long way to keeping them in Morgantown for their whole career.
Sad but true for a lot of players. but for some the relationship means something. Some may stay around for Country Roads money instead of looking elsewhere. ..... at least in theory that works with some players. Showing them the love helps. ..... we hope.
And it started with greedy university administrators creating NFL Lite in the college system which naturally would make players envious at how absolutely wealthy their participation was making these greedy sleaze bags. But then again these are the same people who had no problem lining their own pockets by way of pushing their own students into financially crippling debt.
