Just looked at Wrestlestat and they have him ranked #6 at 149. I must have overlooked his transfer as that is a pretty high ranking for a Junior who will probably redshirt.
It never ceases to amaze me at what John can do in finding transfers that fit our needs.
Was there a press release when we signed him that I missed?

Is he for sure redshirting? I'd guess that makes sense with Collica already there...

Wait, I just checked his profile out and it looks like he already redshirted...o_O

Collica still has his shirt available as well. Any chance Martinez goes this year and shirts next year?

Collica has a year to redshirt and Martinez has two more years, but has already redshirted. They both will have to be eligible for the same one year at OK STATE.

Martinez was a true freshman in 2014-15. He has not redshirted. The confusion might be because he took a year off between high school and going to Boise State. He was a high school senior in 2013, but didn't sign with Boise until 2014, beginning classes in the fall of 2014. I'm not sure what the circumstances were there, but his clock didn't start until fall of 2014 and he wrestled both years he was in Idaho.

That makes sense. I did not see where he AA'd in 2014 on my brackets, but I must have just missed it.

Geo attended the Air Force prep school for one semester in the Fall of 2012. He left around Christmas and focused on his workouts at the OTC the rest of that school year. His clock never started until the fall of 2013 at Boise State.
