It's up to $65 million but likely those are bogus bidders.
Still it's a freaking $200 gun with a starting bid of $5,000.
Considering George Washington's saddle pistols sold for $2 million.
Who cares other than some un American 2nd Amendment killer.

Just who would fight if we were attacked in 2016 by anyone? What to many so called Americans must have failed history. I spent 6 years in the Marine Corp. in Vietnam Nam so Zimmerman can do stupid things.

Actually I kind of doubt that. Glad you made it back though, thanks.

I love that when blacks kill whites, which dwarfs any violence of white on black, the media doesn't give it national attention or make it a racial issue. However, if there's a chance to make some thug POS like Michael Brown, Freddie Gray or Trayvon Martin info a martyr, the media always takes it.

It's why we know the names of those involved in these cases but not the names of the three blacks who killed a pregnant wife of an Indiana preacher or the guy who terrorized a DC family, tortured their 10-year-old son before killing them and setting them on fire.

It's amazing that black on white doesn't get labeled a hate crime when it's the majority of hate crimes.

I don't see what the big deal is here.

^^this. Who cares? If he wants to sell a gun, then sell it. No different than selling a Camry.

OK. I'll bite.

If you can't see that he is profiting off of killing another human (warranted or not) then there's not much left to say.

Is it his right to sell his property? Absolutely.
Is he a POS for doing so? Absolutely.

If these were sarcastic posts, then carry on.

No sarcasm here. He has every right to sell whatever he wants. Who cares.
Like I said he has the right.

Who cares if he takes advantage of that right? We see that you don't.

Just curious. If, God forbid, your son was shot dead by someone and that someone put the gun he used up for auction, would you care?

I think a lot of the problems we discuss on a daily basis in this forum and in this great country stem from the inability to place oneself in another's shoes.

My $.02.

Well it's really not the gun being sold but the history behind the gun. Much like the gun that shot Jesse James was sold for $350,000.
It will be interesting to see how much this one goes for.

George may not be a pillar of his community but he will always be looking over his shoulder the rest of his life.
I think he has like $2 million in legal fees to pay for and no one wants to hire him, so get what he can.

What I want to know is who wants this ****? This isn't some high profile celeb or legendary outlaw. This is a media created frenzy of one douche killing a thug and because of the races involved, it became a national story. Neither were decent people. It's just a random murder, which we will get 100 of tomorrow in Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Memphis or Cleveland. So who cares?

If it was like John Wilkes Booth gun or Robert Ford's, then I'd obviously understand but this is on par with a listing for "Hey, this is the steak knife I used to kill RaeKwon when he tried to rob a pizzeria." Who the hell cares?

You've repeatedly called Trayvon Martin a "thug" in this thread. There was never any evidence of that. People (probably people like you) played up the "George Zimmerman as responsible neighborhood watch man" angle and made it seem like Zimmerman just made a mistake and Martin was overly aggressive and somehow culpable in his own death. Since then, Zimmerman has been repeatedly arrested and behaved like what he was all along - somebody was some serious problems including a violent streak. Zimmerman is the one who appears to be a "thug", and this auction adds to the image.

Martin was a thug. The kid was apprehended and suspended at school and had a backpack full of women's jewelery and a burglarizing tool in the bag. He also, got busted at school for weed as well.

Zimmerman is a POS but let's not pretend Trayvon was some innocent martyr because the leftist media decided to run photos of him as a 12-year-old. I think with a screen name of "No Limit N***a" who routinely posted pics smoking weed and giving the finger is probably a good indication he's not a scholar that helps out the elderly.

Yeah that n#$**$ deserved everything he got right Heisman? Smoking weed? Actually they found 'residue' in his backpack, not actual drugs. My god!! So anyone not a scholar deserves to be shot by some thug with a gun looking for an excuse to shoot someone?

The rationalization racists like you use to excuse executions by thugs like Zimmerman and the police are never used when it comes to killing of white people. Evidently anyone of color who is not a perfect citizen deserves to be killed. Zero evidence this kid was doing anything other than just walking home from the store. Zimmerman wanted to shoot someone and the 911 call confirms just how bigoted and hard up he was to get someone.

Zimmerman was a *****.

This is what's lost in the whole deal.

He shot a dude that HE approached, and started stuff with. Where I come from, you take your *** whipping and learn your lesson. In Florida, you shoot the guy who whipped your *** in a fight you started and walk? Seems pretty effed to me.

In summary, instigating a fight, losing said fight then killing guy who kicked your *** makes you a ***** in my book.

And No Limit N---a? Who wasn't a No Limit N---a in the late 90s? Get rowdy, rowdy and bout it bout it. UGGGGHHHHH.

My favorite thing out of this whole case was NBC deliberately editing the 911 phone call to make it sound racist. Then people want to act like the media isn't biased and problematic.

Also, didn't Trayvon start the physical encounter?

Just give Zimmerman and Tonya Harding their own reality show together and be done with it.

Accounts varied and one account was never heard because killed, but Zimmerman approached Martin first. That's instigation to me.

A scuffle ensued, George got his *** whipped, killed the dude. That's the likely scenario. If Officer George followed Master P/Lil Jon's superb life advice of "Don't start no ****, won't be no ****" none of us would be talking about this today. Martin and Zimmerman would both be alive to continue being the pieces of **** they collectively were.

To the original topic, if that was me I'd be thankful I didn't get my dumbass beat to death, more thankful that I was acquitted and would never be in the public eye again. But, I have sense and am a relatively decent person, so I can't relate to ole George.

I thought George was walking back to his SUV and Martin approached him and exchanged words.

I saw a person sneaking around my elderly neighbor's house last year as I was taking the dog out.
I approached him and asked him what he was doing and got the vehicle description and license.
I feel if you are not vigilant looking out for one another then people will **** on you.
