Won't be shocked in the slightest if UK loses...with a game at Miss St following, this is a huge game for the Cats, as I don't think they leave Starkville with a win.

I am hoping UK comes out of the gates quickly (which they for some reason have had an issue with the majority of the season) to help dampen the crowd's enthusiasm, at least just a bit, and with the same energy and intensity they showed against UF.

Heart says UK, mind says UGA 80-76. Hope I am wrong!

This could be an Achilles heel for us this year on the road in the SEC.

I hope Kentucky stops it's tendency to play bad against unranked d1 teams and beats Ga. I'll say UK by 7.

I think most of you would be surprised to here that the analytics sites only have Kentucky as 0.5 point favorites. ESPN BPI only gives us a 53% chance to win. Expect the Vegas line to be somewhere in the UK -2.5 range just due to public perception.

I have a different take. As a prior UK signee Somto Cyril was watched by me on YouTube many times. I have found it intriguing seeing what our future team could have been with Cal. And while Cyril won't be playing but 4 or 8 min. I wanna see the match up between A. Williams for their sheer power.

I'm very wary of this game, but think we are going to do what it takes to pull it out on the road. Every game is huge. Superbowl even.

I wonder if they'll lower the Dawg from the rafter, rappelling down ? Oh wait. That would be the LSU tiger. Im sure they'll have some kinda sold out SRO gimmick to help pump them up.

I'm just praying Douggie Boy and zebra company don't decide to take a starring role in tomorrow's game at Stegman. Lots of game delays. Officials huddling.

That would be .... a bad thing

Georgia's been on the upswing, recruiting better under Mike White. They have a pretty mean post game, both on offense and defense. They beat St. John's, GTech and Notre Dame. They're also 12-2, with two respectable losses to Marquette and Ole Miss.

Every game in the SEC is going to be brutal, this one is no different.

White lost 6 to the portal from last year and 3 to graduation, bringing back just 3 players.

He snagged DeShayne Montgomery and Leffew in the portal from Mnt St Marys and they are playing well for them. They are the two best shooters on the team. Montgomery had to sit out 9 games for some reason to start the year.

He got a big-time recruit in Asa Newell as well, who is their best player. He was notable for being snubbed from the McDonalds game. White also took Vandy's best player in Tyrin Lawrence, who's killed us in the past.

If we have any chance to win the league, this is a must-win. I realize it's only the 2nd game of the conference season, but you have to get these kinds of wins to have a chance.
Totally agree. We really need to get this one as being the favorite. There are a few other games in this league that pose a higher threat for us to lose. That being said, I fully expect a very tough and hard fought game from Georgia. Even so, I feel like we pull this one out.

I think we have this one. Looking at UGA's schedule and they barely beat Grand Canyon in Dec, lost by 11 and allowed 80 points to a ranked Marquette, and just lost to Ole Miss by 12. Before that they squeaked by SC State 79-72 at home, and didn't exactly blow the doors off of Charleston Southern the week prior (81-65).

They also put up some big numbers offensively against their mid major comp, so it's clear they don't seem to grind it out as much as we may think.

They squeaked by Pitino's Johnnies 66-63.

First game of the season they slipped passed the almighty Tenn Tech 83-78.

UK better win this game. UGA is 10th in the SEC in net. There aren't going to be many easier road games than this one.
This is Georgia first chance to move up in the rankings. It is their first chance at a superbowl type win. UK better be on their A game or they will be in for a game like Clemson.

This game won’t be easy. I will be tickled to death to escape Athens with a 1 point win.

UGA is receiving votes in the AP poll, plays at a slow pace, has some good athletes and is a very physical team on the defensive end. UK hasn’t done well against those kind of teams this season. I look for a dog fight, hope for a win, won’t be shocked by a loss.

The people who think we’re just going to waltz in and win by 10+ on the road in this SEC because our jerseys say Kentucky might be in for a rude awakening this conference season.
