Getting refocused... despite my better judgement

I know many fans have already checked out and could give two sh!ts about the next game, but, I prefer to move on and look at the next opponent. UF has been UK's nemesis well before I started following UK football, so, this week I'd like to just put an end to that BS streak.

Are the odds in our favor? Hell no. Are we reeling from a terrible loss and lack the mental fortitude to shrug it off and win a tough road game? Its very possible. But, is it also possible that we just **** the bed the second half because of an early season brain fart (coaches and/or players)? Maybe... Is it then possible that this team will get refocused and come out angry and hungry and finally put an end to this ludicrous streak? I prefer to say HELL YES!

If all that comes from this season is ending this GD streak, I won't be happy, but my a$$ will be a little less chapped.

This Gator team is not that good. Yes, they have a talent advantage, but this is not the Urban Meyer Gators, or the Steve Spurrier Gators, hell this team may not even be the Muschamp Gators. They are beatable. Can we do it? The gaytors don't think so... They say 30 is inevitable.

This is what they have to say...

I'm very "meh" right now. Still a little bitter but as always I'll be in front of the TV Saturday for 3 hours hoping for the best and trying to support the guys on the field from the opposite coast.

I've watched every game Kentucky has played since the SEC network made it possible. However I will be at Drill this weekend and will miss the bout in Gainsville. IF the CATS find a way to win down there, I promise not to watch another game this season. Lets hope and pray for a miracle.

Over the anger and frustration like I always am after a few days of yet another KY loss. Life gets in the way and makes you realize there are more important things to deal with.

Lets be honest. No matter how bad they are, we or well most of us will go through the agony week in and week out, and come here and complain about how done we are again... and again... and again.

I never proclaim to be done. But like many others, over time and with each disappointing loss, the strings of attachment become frayed. I will continue to follow the team but, I will watch with skeptical, cautious eyes. I just want to freaking streak to be over.
