I've always been a bit wary of playing golf down in FL for this very reason.

Adds an entirely new dimension to an already difficult game.

I play a lot of golf in the winter in Southwest Fl. You see quite a few gators, but they are almost institutionalized living in the neighborhoods. I don't get too close to the water and certainly don't stick my hand where I can't see.

Once I looked out my condo and a huge gator was walking down the street.
