ESPN put out its final 100 for 2016 and kept Giles there. Interesting. They had a quote from him:

“Everything is going great with my rehab,” Giles said. “Right now I am strengthening my legs, doing some light jumps, shooting a lot of free throws and handling the ball in a stationary position. Next will be some straight line running. I expect to be ready by November.”

Does anyone know why Carter is being invited to Big Blue Madness? I didn't think UK was even trying for him anymore? I was hoping to get an early commitment from Carter. Hopefully he just cancels his big blue madness visit and just goes on and commits to Duke.

From what I've seen, Josh Jackson should be number 1, even if Harry had never been hurt. But I'll take HG at #1. Screw Kansas.

I really like Josh Jackson, but honest to God. You sit me down today and say I can have either at Duke, I'm taking Harry, every time. What Harry has is contagious. It spreads through your team. You'll see. That kid is not built to disappoint.
I agree with this if I could choose either to come to UK. Only thing about Giles is how will he actually return from this injury, considering he has now hurt both. I'm hoping he comes back healthy this year, because I think he will be a great college player. Just hope if we end up playing each other in the end he has a bad game.

Jackson needs the ball in his hands in order to be the best player on the floor.
GIles doesn't need the ball in his hands in order to be the best player on the floor.

I think we might have to wait and see on that. I've never seen either guy hog the ball in situations where they should be sharing. Also, both guys are active without the rock. You may well be right, just not sure where the evidence is.

Just cause he's invited doesn't mean he has to go.

Good post. I am so glad to hear Giles say that everything is going good in his rehab! Absolutely cannot wait to see him in Duke blue next season. He is so contagious with his effort and emotion on the Court, the Crazies are going to love him!!
My only fear, and I will probably be holding my breath every practice and game next season, is that his knees hold up and he stays injury free. It is such a demanding season on the knees, and he reminds me so much of Grayson (playing with reckless abandon), that it scares me to think of him going down again. I'm not a pessimist, I just want to see him have the best season he can have, injury free.
If he does stay injury free, look out, this is going to be a ride we won't soon forget.
Go Duke!!
