Stoops said he was suppose to go over ans throw for the staff while he was here...anybody heard how it went?

If he threw for the staff, I’m sure it was private and no one would have been on site so I wouldn’t exp ct any reports on how it went. But judging from how competitive fall ball was this year and the fact that he will be with the football team, I see him as a long shot to make an impact at all in baseball. Reports I have seen have him as a raw prospect in baseball.
I could be wrong, but I don't think Gilmore is enrolling early, so he would be on the 2020 UK baseball team if he made the team. We won't lose too many players from the 2019 team because it will be an extremely young team. However, this staff hasn't been too shy about using the redshirt.
I imagine that Gilmore may not start for the football team in 2019, and will likely redshirt there as well. So, the baseball team can afford to redshirt him as well and keep his eligibility lined up with football.
He is a lefty. Not sure how good he will be or can be, but that automatically gives him a leg up. UK will have 4 lefties on the roster for 2020 before any newcomers, so he could certainly play a role.
