All I said was this game, in my opinion, was the game of Gabriel’s life and he delivered.
No, not the game of his life ct, Dillon ain't doin nothing he ain't done before. More refined maybe? OUr game is coming together under brent. Just accept it.

He appears to have spent substantial time with Smitty last winter/spring; he doesn’t seem to look fragile this year

This was a big statement game for Venables, the program, and Gabriel.
The win over a good Texas team, 3rd ranked, is a major step in Venables’ rebuilding job… which now appears to be further along that many thought.

A nod to Gabriel. Balls of steel and a legendary drive to seal the win. Ups and downs, my allegiance is set. We ride and die with DG this season and w we should be thankful he was here in this transitory time.

Didn't you read where I stated this wasn't Dillon's first rodeo?

Woody, Dillon hasn't really had much of a rodeo to speak of in his college career until today. His signature win at OU last year was against Kansas, and at UCF he never even had a win against a ranked team while he was there.

DG has been solid for 2 seasons now. As an OU starter, he has produced. Difference is this year the defense is making plays and getting off the field. If we had this defense last season even with DG out those games it would have been a 10 win season. DG knows Lebby's system probably better than Lebby does, Arnold may be the better qb but it may take him a season or two to put up big numbers. Not sure what DG's career path is, but BV would be smart to hire him on as a GA to work with Arnold.
