...and being a UK fan during that time. If you are old enough...or, go back as far as you want or can.

And I'm not talking about, "Hey, we'll win it all in '96, '98 and 2012!!! And we're undefeated so far in 2015 and headed for No. 9!!!" Be more introspective and contemplative than that.

I would say to myself, "Self, just relax and enjoy the ride. There will be ups and downs, but I promise you you won't regret being a UK fan you look back on it XX years from now. Oh, and never miss the chance to point and laugh at Uavel and IU. You'll have plenty of opportunities. Oh, and remember this term: 'message boards'."

Hey, you're 9. Your UK conscious self begins with Laettner and the upcoming ride will be good. But when Arizona beats us in 97 dont just shrug it off because 'they've had a pretty good run'. Titles are precious. Lean years are coming.


Also, don't date Amy.

Hey UKGrad93, remember that other job you almost took. Yeah, you should've taken it. You would have lived in SEC country instead of Big 10 country. Better to see the Cats play. Plus it was probably a better job.
