Notice the improvement of the frontline on D? Not going for as many ball fakes and timing their blocks better. Playing smarter, not harder.
These close games are so important for the team's development. You can only do so much in practice, against the same guys.
My only complaint is that I thought Lyles looked off and Cal. left him in to try and work it out. I would have sat him more. But, that decision is way above my pay grade and expertise.
