Glaring Problems

The 3 main problems statistically with this team are the amount of turnovers we force, our three point shooting and the pace we play. (Keep in mind we had the #9 overall pace at 73.7 last year). I think our 'shooters' Kam, Trent, and Jelavic are struggling as of now and it will improve over time. However, Pope needs to fix the defense and needs to go back to the pace where his systems excel at. Stats (bbnstats.com). The stats show that Pope clearly did not recruit players that fit his System over the offseason.

The offense is a mess without a point guard. The majority of the threes and even non-threes are terrible shots. All created by "one on one". I have zero expections unless Lowe comes back. Disappointing.

I expected a big change from Sophomore Brandon Garrison to Junior Brandon Garrison. I was right, he changed big time. Wrong direction

We can talk stats and performance all we want, but every single problem UK has starts in the locker room! Mark Pope is one of the highest quality human beings any of us will ever meet, but he IS NOT good at conflict resolution!

The inmates are running the asylum, and you could see in his post game interviews, he’s a dead man walking, and he knows because of his sensitive personality, he’s not righting the ship!
