Bro...that's the actual measurements of the UAH Sattelite temps. Graphs have a purpose you know, when they're not made up...a graph is easier to look at than raw numbers. But I'd be glad to post that also

Just exactly how did they determine what temperature to use? Science is what, a few hundred yrs old, Earth is a few billion yrs old, and has experienced more than a few climate changes....From one Ice age to the next how warm did it get... and since man wasn't here then what caused the warm up?

38 yrs ago I was taught the northern ice would melt away at an ever increasing rate, it was taught in earth science of the day.

The 0.0 line was derived from using the average of temperatures over the course of a certain time frame. Each year they calculate the average from that year and calculating how far it is away from the average over the years they used. Pretty simple actually. It is not just a made up temperature lol.

I think what he meant was that temperatures have wildly fluctuated for millions of years on earth so how can we say anything is average. Average is relative to what we've seen since record keeping began in 1880. But you are correct it's not made up, it's just relative.

I see what you're saying and I agree that it is tough to determine what years to actually use because temperature has shifted ever since it has been recorded, but that is just IT. This whole Global Warming deal uses what has happened over and over throughout history and turns it into a scare tactic wanting everyone to believe that THIS TIME there will be a different outcome. Ice melts....Ice forms. Temperature drops...Temperature rises. Ocean levels Increase...Ocean levels decrease. It is the way of life lol.

The sea level in Miami has risen one foot over the last 80 years due to the accelerated warming due mostly to greenhouse gases. At the current rate a lot of beach front property will be under water in 20 years and by the end of the century many coastal cities will be under water, including Manhattan.

Yes changes like this have occurred historically in the past but over hundreds of thousands of years, not a few decades.

I won't be around when the worst comes but many of you will be and the kids and grandchildren will to. It's time to quit denying the obvious and start doing something about it.

Think it would depend if the country in Africa has a stable, responsible government or not.

Madagascar has lost much of it's original forest from human activity. It now suffers desertification, erosion and poor water quality which leads to more outside support to feed it's population.
Zimbabwe use to produce food surpluses, but since political changes it now can not feed it's own people.
They maybe producing more food but at the cost of slash and burn the forest lands.
Then there is cash crop farming such as tobacco that has expanded in Africa which takes up what arable land there is.

My question comes from the fact that the most dinosaur fossils are found in the northern part of the U.S.
unless they got there from the shifting of the earths plates, the temperature had to be much much warmer then
