The Kansas game and South Dakota State game is being televised, but no station wanted to pick up our game for free, what a pathetic excuse.

Well, obviously it's the mass appeal for that national CFB juggernaut South Dakota State.
That has to be the reason.

(parity has infected the TV broadcast rights as well)

Likely to be a closer game, except Kansas decided to not show up.

It turned out to be a pretty good game. Kansas loss 38-41 after being down 7-31 at half. The Jayhawks only have 4 returning starters. Looks like another banner year for KU. Flipped back and forth between KU, and the Stanford - NW game with an occasional sneak at others. Maryland has to have the most ugly uniforms in all sports.

When I called earlier to order the game from DirectTV, I said I needed to order a ppv college football game - the little girl said 'Let me guess, Oklahoma, right?' Apparently they are doing nothing but processing ppv orders of people ordering this game. As long as we order it and spend our money on it, they'll always use the first game of the year as a ppv. Makes too much money for the university.

Oh, I hear ya.
Joe C. is the DT of college ADs.

(which, incidentally isn't a complaint by any means)
