i have two kids..5 year old and 9 year old. looking at getting a god for the family. need one that does not smite too much. entire family has sins so also one that is cool with those. we live in Lexington. guessing most don’t recommend getting one from the recent past like scientology? monotheism? polytheism? thanks in advance!

If you're looking for an all-around, good ol' redneck country god, it's kinda hard to top a YEHAWH.

Take the kids and let them pick one out. Like a puppy. And stop being such a lame-*** dad.

Zoroastrianism FTW
I'd thought of that, but I sense that he's looking for something to hang in his breakfast nook. Not sure what sort of trinket he can find on eBay for that . . . on those important 4th weekends when it's his turn with the kids, or every other month when his ex doesn't let him cop out with another lame excuse.

I never got one..oddly enough I'm just as moral as the ones with one
Do you consider your act of judging the morality of others moral? In what way are you pre-ordained to make this judgment? Do you assume all others judge your morals? Including those with / without any spiritual association? Apparently, you do.
