Nice piece this morning, in the Columbus Dispatch, on Godwin Igwebuike. Hopefully, his renaissance is a durable one.
As an aside, I would love to see our staff returning to Central Ohio, to recruit, and sign, high level players. Central Ohio has been good to NU over the years. Too bad Terah Edwards did not work out. As an Academic B1G player, it would appear he was taking advantage of his NU education. I guess football doesn't always work out. Go Cats!

"There was no mention from above of how well he would play the position. That part was up to him, and after meeting with his former coaches at Northwestern to work on run blocking and the finer aspects of the position, he has made the most of the switch by becoming an important backup option."

That's great that former players maintain relationships with the NUFB coaching staff and can come back for assistance when they need it. It's not just about the four years that you're there. It's not just about the great education you while you're there. The team will also help you pursue your NFL dreams even after you've been out for awhile.

Ugh — fumble by Godwin, resulting in a turnover.

Lions pick Murray two plays later, and lead 24-3.

So much for Fadin’ for Aidan.
