I believe "Oriental Gentleman" is preferred over Chinaman, though I work near DC's Chinatown and everybody is cool with that, so maybe that has changed.

As for the OP's brother from another mother, I'd never heard of him. I don't mind him using racial slurs -- I'm a white guy, what's he going to say about me? But when I googled his picture the first photo I see he's wearing a Notre Dame jacket. So I hope the PC police sink him immediately.
