For the life of me, I don't understand what Khourtney Kardashian sees in Travis Barker and Megan Fox sees in Machine Gun Kelly. Both KK and MF are good looking women and both TB and MGK look like tatted-up, heroin addicts. That's just two celebrities.

But, I know pretty much every time I'm out in public I'll see a nice looking woman with some ugly, thug-looking, pants hanging on his thighs, tats/piercings, dirty, etc. guy.

Someone explain why this is. I rarely see the opposite: some good looking guy with a waif-thin, hooker looking ***** but maybe I just don't notice it as much.

Can't speak for Fox but the Kardashians are well known for picking very emotionally messed up guys.

It baffles me but not on the celebrity level. I work with a 40 year old professional female that very beautiful, smart and by all accounts has a great disposition. Works out and lives a healthy lifestyle. She is still single and only dates guys that most on here would consider to be complete rednecks. Might explain why she is still single.

Uh, money?
Pretty sure KK's net worth is bigger than TB's is (according to Google, a lot closer than I would've guessed). MF and MGK are both worth somewhere around $10M (Google again). In those two cases, I can't imagine it's money. In many, many other ones, yes, money is definitely a factor.

On another somewhat related note, how did no-talent hacks like TB and MGK get NW's of $50M and $10M? For that matter, how did KK and MF?

Maybe in that case but when you think about your locals, dollar bills get it done.

Something to do with fame. If those guys were random dudes walking down the street, no woman would give them a second glance. Same thing with Joe dirt/Morgan wallen and countless others; although I'm not sure anything ever tops Pete Davidson

The four I named are all famous to some degree but, yes, in many cases being famous has its perks. But, in everyday life, I see a lot more hot chicks with gross-looking guys and I have a hard time believing that every one of those guys is rich or famous.

This is nothing new. Some beautiful women are drawn to fame over looks. Ugly Rick Ocasek married one of the top super models of all time.

Sometimes two people just click. I dated some pretty hot chicks in my younger days, but I only married one, and that was a total train wreck for 7 years. Got divorced in 1999 and swore I would never marry again. Fast forward to 2014. Was at a NASCAR race in Charlotte. Had the same seats for three days, with the same group of people beside us — a group from South Georgia. In that group was the prettiest girl I’d ever seen. We switched seats before the first night was over, and sat next to each other the rest of the weekend. It was love at first sight lol.

I was still in Lexington, so we did the long distance relationship for a year. The next year I moved down here and married her. I’m average. She’s spectacular. I make good money. She makes better money. I constantly hear I out-kicked my coverage. I’m perfectly ok with that. Our chemistry is as perfect 8 years later as it was the first weekend we met. It’s not always about money or looks. Usually it’s just chemistry.

SOOO wanna experience that again. Been lucky enough to date a truly beautiful woman before but it's been a bit. Luckily, now I know to go to NASCAR races. ;)
