Good news question?

I don’t usually post real personal info on social media etc but man there’s been some really tough news to hear on this forum last week or so. So, I figured I’d throw some good news at ya. Our daughter, the newest Big Blue fan, was born 12/27. She was scheduled for Jan 24th originally but had to come early. She is perfect and 100% healthy and the rumor around the OB was, if you listened closely when she was born, you could hear a small Go Big Blue chant.

It made me wonder what y’all got as a first UK gear for your newborns?

Congrats! Nothing better than a daughter. Don’t tell my son I said that.
I was hoping for a son, I was the last hope for the family name. The wife is down to try again and apparently you can separate the swimmers now days and get what you want ( boy or girl) but I think I’m too old. Hell I’m probably to old for this one but once the wife was a little bit pregnant it’s to late, your obligated.

Congratulations, Daddy! Your life has just changed forever, in a great way.
We never did get that baby girl we wanted, but we have three wonderful sons.
Our first grand child was born last week, three weeks early.
What a surprise. I guess she just wanted to see Santa Clause.

Congratulations. Always good to hear about a healthy new member of the BBN. You have a hell of a responsibility in front of you, but I'm sure you can, and will, handle it. Just make sure not to blink. Time goes fast.

You're not too old, and speaking from experience, there's no greater gift you can give your daughter than a little brother to boss around. My daughter is 17 months older than my son.

I was the last hope for my family name, too, Skyguy. The younger of my two daughters turns 50 on Jan. 15. Her older sister turns 54 on Jan. 3. But I always say to any young guy that I run into who has a pre-teen daughter with him: "The great thing about having little girls is that they never get too old to crawl up into Daddy's lap." :)

Happy New Year to all ... and, of course ... Go 'Cats ! ! !
