Lately I have been having trouble finding good shows to watch. Usually I will DVR or watch a little bit of a bunch of shows and if I like them I will watch them further. Lately slim pickings tho.

A couple recently have been pretty good—Berlin Station, Dead to Me. But mostly I have not been able to find good quality entertaining series to watch.

Always have appreciated the good advice on here for anything under the sun including good shows. Hoping some good options may be available. Thanks in advance.

I thought the recently ended 6 part Unforgotten on PBS was quite good. Solving a 20 yr murder.

I will check that out. Have not watched many good PBS shows for awhile. There was a run where I was watching it almost exclusively. Had multiple high quality docs and series. Last one I watched was Ken Burns Vietnam series year or so ago.

If we are going to do this again (I'm good with it) then please tell us where they are streaming.

I think as far as what I posted Berlin Station is on Prime—I watched it on demand tho thru the channel it’s on Epix. 3 seasons but heard it is not being renewed. Really liked this show. Centers around CIA station in Berlin and has good amount of quality actors.

Dead to me is Netflix. Kinda silly Christina Applegate series. Prolly wouldn’t have bothered if there were better options available. But entertaining.

Longmire on Netflix
Lucifer on Netflix (I've only watched the first season but I found it entertaining)
The Night Shift on Netflix (hospital show set in San Antonio and I lived there for 4+ years)

Bonding was awful and kind of creepy. Watched a couple of episodes and quit. It's also on Netflix

Good list here. Also agree with others on Ozark. Started to watch Luther and Haunting at Hill House but need to get back.

I tried Hulu for a couple months but couldn’t really get into the Handmaids Tale show. Ok but not what I thought. Have stuck with Netflix and Prime in addition to cable. Prime seems to be coming forward with some good stuff also. Mrs Maisel I watched first few episodes and enjoyed.

Epix channel on cable has been excellent also—Get Shorty, Deep State and Berlin Station have all been very entertaining shows.

Need to get into Peaky Blinders. Keep hearing good reviews on it.

Loudermilk. I bust a gut laughing everytime I watch it. Kinda like the old Barney Miller show. The situations are serious, but the people are funny. Deals with various addictions, mostly alcoholism(the title characters addiction). Oh! It's on AT&T

Are there any streaming Happy Endings? I thought it was a great show and it canceled so that shows you my taste in shows.

When They See Us a docu series on the Central park murders in the 80's is excellent. Just came out May 31st. It is about 4 black kids and a Mexican kid who got convicted of a rape and assault they did not commit.

It is on Netflix.

Right. But they were obviously up to something bad, so it's cool that they were wrongly convicted and spent time in jail for nothing.

Longmire and Ozark on Netflix are great.

I watch a lot of true crime shows on ID like See no Evil and Homicide Hunter.

If you like comedy's Arrested Development, Parks and Recreation and The Office are all on Netflix too.

Breaking Bad
Ozarks
Rectify
Bloodline
Dexter
The Killing

Great list. Watched and agree completely with all listed. Rectify I stumbled across on TV a couple years ago and is really good. Very underrated. Got a little less interesting after first couple seasons but a great show nonetheless.

Sorry for not mentioning shows I have already watched as honestly I have been a series fanatic for many years so the list is endless. My initial thought was to get some advice on any newer shows that I may not be aware of to check out.

However, the end result of this has been my hankering to go back and re-watch a couple of my all time favs--Sopranos & The Wire are on my short list of best ever and I just went back and restarted both for ***** & giggles.

I will add Mindhunter as a newer quality show that I really enjoyed also. It is in the same category of the group listed above as well--crime & punishment drama genre.
