you should be able to read it as long as you haven't used your allowance of free articles in their site. I switch between computers and phones so I rarely get locked out, although I don't read too many articles on the CJ.

I know some people in Austin who recently got it and they love it. $70/month, yes please. I'm hoping Louisville gov't doesn't screw this up. I bet Time Warner is working the phones today. Only thing keeping me to TWC is no other options.

Correct. Deployments have mainly materialized in the southern part of the city. No announcements for a "fiberhood" in our immediate area yet, but believe we have a great chance due to a new apartment complex recently built on the next street over. If I'm not mistaken, pricing is $70/mo for gigabit internet-only and $130/mo for gigabit internet + TV.

Louisville folks should begin noticing improved service, or at least plans therefore, from other providers (Time Warner and AT&T) soon after the Google announcement. For example, Time-Warner initiated city-wide WiFi deployments for current customers and greater speeds within a year after news of Google's intentions became apparent.
