Yea I’m pretty sure the mountain mamba was created against Tennessee right?
Harlan created him. Knoxville discovered him.

I think Mo becomes important if we can start out ok and maybe even get a little lead. Bring him in for toughness and doing all the little intangibles, and don’t shoot a 3 (PLEASE). Maybe 12 minutes.

Highly doubtful IMO. Noah is the 12th man in rotation (10th now with Lowe and JQ out) and I don’t see him cracking higher into the rotation the rest of the season. Rotations are tightening at this point and it’s not time to experiment.
I agree. However, would LOVE his shooting, if for no other reason than floor spacing. I honestly think he’s hurt.

We cut the lead to 6 and Pope decides to play Noah and Chandler at the same time with no Aberdeen or Oweh in the game. That is not a lineup any other coach in the country would ever play. Makes zero sense at all.

Yeah, these guys go from starting or being in constant rotation to sitting 3-4 games in a row with no clock and we wonder why their confidence gets shook and they look lost. Noah, Chandler, Williams, & Jellybhave to play with Oweh or Aberdeen because they’re the only guys getting to the rim off the bounce and we don’t run anything off ball to free up shooters. Pope just ain’t it.

Some players just happen to play good against certain teams. Dontaie Allen always went off everytime we played Mississippi State. Who knows, maybe Noah is like that against Tennessee.

Those games were n the same season against msu. He scored 5 against them the next season. Hardly going off.
