What do you think so far? Seems as though he has subtracted an inch of height from a few of our players when talking about their size.

Now Gottlieb thinks he's a better coach than Calipari,bashing the platoon system.

I heard WCS was only 6'11"

I tend to agree. I'm just saying he is being less of a douche bag than normal. Still don't like him though.

I actually like Gottlieb a lot.

I understand he's a total contrarian and will only go what is against the grain, but I like his takes.

Not a fan of his, but he did a good job today. And yes, he right on the goaltend (hit the backboard first) and some fouls we got away with.

He did dig a bit of a hole on the Ashley being old thing. That hit a little close to home for me. I don't like him at all but overall he was more complementary than usual.

Well, I don't listen to the "announcers", I use mute.
But he was turrible in my opinion.

I thought he was boring. Monotone delivery. No enthusiasm. I'm sure he hated he was in Lexington as much as he hates UK and the abuse he has received from UK fans for his anti UK comments. He appears to know the game but his presentation is just awful and his attempts at being clever of funny consistently fell flat. Finally, he may be the ugliest analyst in the history of the broadcasting. Otherwise, I thought he was good.:)

I thought he was more complimentary towards us than usual but I think everyone wants to be on the bus for fear of getting run over.

His clapper statement was awful. "Remember the Clapper? That's what Kentucky is. Clap-on. Clap-off.".... WTF? I never thought I'd long for "spurtability" but there it is.

Can't take spots off a dog. He's a jerk and awful commentator imo. We deserved better for this game.

On your rewatch of the game (admit it, you will do it), listen to how many times he says things like UK probably got away with a foul, goaltend, etc. also, he said, "Florida is not getting any calls." So ok, not terrible toward the cats, but enough subtle jabs to confirm his Massingil product status.
