Averaging 13.8 ppg this season, has shot roughly 40% from 3 during his career.

I think PG is where Collins should look hard for a grad transfer. Buie and Greer should have every opportunity to win the starting job, but it would be nice to have a steady hand on board in case they’re not ready to shoulder the load.

With three open schollies, maybe a help wanted as on Craigslist might help.

I hope that we aren't headed back to the Carmody days with only 7 scholarship players on the roster.... That would be really sad.

He went 5-14 from the field with 1 assist when Columbia lost to NU this season. Not exactly numbers that make you think he'd be a factor in the B1G.

NU needs bodies. Specifically a PG that could eat up 10-15 minutes per game in case Greer and Buie struggle. If there’s a better player who can pass admissions, by all means, bring him in.

Agree they need bodies. But any expectations that Adlesh would be an impact player are just looney-tunes.

We agree. I’m just spitballing. Judging by how NU was in the running for KJ Feagin, clearly there is some interest in a grad transfer PG.

The likelihood of getting an “impact player” at this stage of the recruiting process is extremely low. You might get a long-term prospect if you’re looking at freshmen, or a productive role player if you’re in the transfer market.
