Schutt doesn’t play the greatest competition but when they do play tough teams, Schutt still scores. Some of the highlights were against Morgan Park with Adam Miller, Brandon Weston, etc. Schutt is very athletic. More than just a shooter.

What makes his offensive game so impressive is all the mid range stuff...you get tight on him and he's a dribble or two and 12 footer...and the step backs when the lane shuts down. Lots of tools

So Henricksen calls Jaden Schutt the best shooter in Illinois in 25 years, and Braden Huff the best young prospect in Illinois no one knows anything about.

NU has early offers out to both. And they're local. Love it. Especially with the recruiting momentum from the 2021 class. As it stands, there are potentially four scholarship spots open in 2022, with Greer/Gaines/Kopp/Nance all graduating.

Obviously Gradey would be a massive recruit, but man, after watching that highlights video, I just can't get over what a difference Jaden Schutt could make. That kind of shooting capability as a high school sophomore is rare, indeed.
