i really believe if he can get a good QB, we will see wonders with our offense next year. No knock on Johnson, he has done well. I was a little dismayed in Gran,s play calling in the last QTR, especially when we had ran Snell the whole drive. The wildcat solely will not beat Tenn, or the Vill . Proud of the guy,s efforts this season. At least we are going bowling.

I think it's hard for them to put the game plan in Johnson's hands. It becomes more difficult when the WRs fail him too. That's why I've said it's imperative for UK not to fall behind by 2 scores. Don't think they have confidence in Johnson bringing UK back.

We need a QB that can handle the whole playbook. If we get that next year then I'm really excited to see what Gran/Hinshaw can put together.

I know Johnson has limitations, but I have zero faith in Barker. At least Johnson has some mobility if he needs to make a play with his feet. I said last year that I'd rather have Towles as QB than Barker which is more of an indication on how limited Barker's upside is (as opposed to Towles being any kind of a good D1 QB).

After rewatching the game just now I believe it's clear the Johnson fumble followed by the Badet drop/INT killed the offense. It really looked like we went from attack mode to just hang on mode. The plays themselves didn't cost the game because we still should have one but the shift in aggression did.
