Hey guys, last March I had mentioned that my 10 year old son wrote a story about how Grayson Allen inspires him for a young authors project at school. With the help of all of you on the board you convinced me to send it to him at the Duke campus. Well this summer he got something back in the mail from Grayson and then got to meet him at the Duke Basketball Camp. Coming from Illinois that was the highlight of the trip. I am trying to post images of the card from Grayson and photo he took with my son so hopefully it works. I think it is awesome that Grayson took the time to write him back. There is not enough of the good stories told on Grayson Allen.

Great stuff, Duhonhokie! Your kid will always remember this, and you too. And Grayson Allen is a good guy, still just a little immature, but not everyone is Abraham Lincoln at his age either.

Oh, and I might be a little paranoid (well, actually I am), but if it were me, I would whiteout your address on that postcard...too many crazy people visit this forum.

Poor choice of words but sounds awesome for your son.

duhondukie: Great story and pictures, thanks for posting! Congrats to your son, this will be a memory he will always cherish. Grayson has been, and always will be, one of my favorite Duke players.
