Now about Grayson. There is no doubt how much he means to this team. Even with all our other problems, with Grayson we're much better. So, getting him back is a priority.
How long will he be out? Maybe it's only one game, but certainly not more than 3 imo. No matter how many games (unless it was the rest of the season) the media, and opponent fans will howl and whine.
And when we get him back, what to expect?
From the team: I think the team won't have any lingering problems with him...he's not been exiled, he's practicing with everyone. He makes everyone around him a little better with the attention he draws, and his passing ability...that benefits his teammates.
From the media, and refs: Holy hell. No matter how well behaved Grayson is, he'll be pummeled. In basketball feet get tangled all the time, and anytime Grayson's feet touch someone, or anyone near him falls down...immediately it'll be Grayson's fault (saw this a few times last year, and it'll only be worse now). And fouls...I'll be willing to bet dollars to doughnut holes that Grayson will be whistled more often for them.
Grayson has turned the spotlight up on himself (and the team)...but a pound of flesh will be sought.
Hopefully, Grayson can keep his calm, and some of the drama will die down (not betting on it). Anyway, we need a focused Grayson Allen for this team to reach it's potential. I believe he can hold up his part.
