Great game...young Cats refused to fold!!!

Give a lot of credit to the Rebels. They made Kentucky earn the win. I don't recall seeing a team hit as many contested bombs as Ole Miss did tonight. Combine that with the ridiculous foul shooting (I guess we should be used to that by now), and Ole Miss played about as well as a team can play offensively against this UK team.

Give Kentucky a ton of credit too. The Cats fought through Ole Miss hitting insane shots and poor foul shooting to beat a team playing its absolute best. It was good to see the Harrison twins play at a high level.

I know a small segment of UK's fan base flips out every time UK doesn't win by 15+, but I think the rest will appreciate that win tonight. It's not easy beating a team that played as well as Ole Miss did tonight. Good experience for this young basketball team.

Yep! It was actually a fun game to watch. Was I nervous? yeah, but it was still a fun game. The CATS needed this IMO!

I couldn't agree more. Seemingly ole miss couldn't miss but UK responded everytime. Every team will give us their best game and this was theirs.14-0 and on to texas a&am.

Ole Miss threes were getting so ridiculous, i was just laughing when they were going in near the end. The played fearless. Most teams would've quit after the 12-0 run, UCLA style.


It was great to see Aaron explode. He's capable of this every night.

Cal went as far to say that UK likely loses to Ole Miss if not for Stefan Moody's cramps late in the game, but he saw the will to win in his team. "They fought," he said. "They had every chance to let go and pout, but they didn't."

Just watched some of the replay. Ole Miss really did a good job of bleeding clock then hitting high difficulty shots. Most of their made treys came with a hand in their face.

That 15 foot runner off the glass kinda reminded me of Woods' shot in the 92 Duke game. It had that feel to it.

Exactly! There's not much a defense can do against that kind of shot and Ole Miss had it going.

The thing that cracks me up is people are saying that ole miss gave everyone the blueprint on how to win. If the blueprint is having guys hit ridiculous shots and play absolutely way over their head then yes they provided the blueprint. Someone might beat us with that "blueprint" but I wouldn't count on it as a regular occurrence.

It really was a great game. I thought we would have to play poorly for them to keep the game close, but we really didn't. We played pretty well all things considered, and still almost lost. It was just an unbelievable performance from their guards. Have to give them credit for consistently knocking down highly contested shots. It's unfortunate to see some of the bad losses they have taken when you know they can play like that, but that's the risk you run with a jumpshooting team. Can beat anyone or lose to anyone on any given night. That was two fun teams to watch playing last night.
