Carolina fans mail it in. Empty seats behind the unc bench playing in Greensboro? Large number of Louisville fans in the lower rows, but let that be just another statement to the perception vs. reality of all things unc. Just an hour down the road and plenty of empty seats in the lowers. There is no comparison between the UK and unc followings. None.

Their fans smell the stinch coming from that program and are staying away. Not a superb traveling fan base even in good times. Only show up for free wine and government cheese.

Their fans never care unless they're contenders. I remember seeing their own arena being half empty in 2010.
