Greer, Gaines and Young...

I know good things happen when they are on the court but against Maryland they played together along with Kopp and Berry for about a 2 minute stretch (10:30 to 8:30). We scored 0 points during that period. Gaines took a desperation 3 with 2 seconds on the shot clock. Kopp shot an airball with 1 second on the shot clock. Young touched the ball several times with his back to the basket but never got a shot off. They did get a couple of offensive rebounds that they did not convert. Against Minnesota they played together for a few minutes in the first half along with Berry and Beran. They produced a shot clock violation, a Berry miss, and 2 turnovers. I know these are small sample sizes but it brought back some bad memories from prior years and I suspect that would be the result more often than not with that lineup.
