Grumpy I know you are very happy about your Dogs tonight - deservedly so! I know you are like myself and been following your team for many, many years - wanting a National Championship for them. Last year you got it - this year you got a lot of icing on that Championship cake! Glad to see Georgia carrying the SEC banner high as usual! Enjoy a great nights sleep and hope I can have the same enjoyment before I leave this world!

Congratulations to UGA! I stayed up too late watching the post-game.

Wow. 2 in a row after waiting for that last one since I first watched Herschel as a kid (we were both kids, Herschel and I) running like a horse through a pasture. Should've won the Heisman that year. Crushed TCU that year as well, and beat the team I can't stand to win the title.

Love what Kirby Smart said to the team before this season, and yall played like it tonight. "We're going huntin!" And hunt they did ALL YEAR! Enjoyed it

Thx Hack, I understand he doesn't have the measurables to get the attention of the NFL. But he is a dang good college QB, to most he is a game manager, but he made play after play with his feet and multiple throws that were dead on. Will be the biggest loss for us the last 2 years.

The light came on for me with Stetson last year later in the season when I saw him start to use his legs more and take off and I saw how dang quick he was once he got sure of himself to run.

Then and there I became a believer because I knew he was alread growing in confidence as a thrower and decision maker but once I saw the weapon and back breaker he could be with his legs I was all in and last night didnt surprise me.

That extra dimension in college is everything and wish we could have seen Will add that a little more, but truly he lacks the quickness Stetson has to escape and make plays.

Congrats Grumpy! I think I read somewhere that including incoming recruits & transfers and before all the NFL decisions UGA has over 100 scholarship players lined up for next year. Are they expecting a large amount of transfers?

They’re going to have to trim 15 somehow. Can’t be over 85. And can’t take a scholarship player and turn them into a walk on. But I think they’ll be fine

I believe so, one announced this morning, a TE. Not sure how many but guys want to play and if you are behind younger guys it isn't likely. Will have a few leave early, not sure how many but 2 I expect for sure are DT Carter and TE Washington, likely a couple OL, maybe 3 go pro.

Just saw our expected numbers on our board, seems we are looking at 110 total, so we are 25 over. At least 6 underclassmen are expected to enter draft, a couple will gray shirt whatever that means, 3 have entered the portal. One has a neck injury and not cleared, so it looks like we will have at least a dozen more enter portal. I won't mention names but OL will likely lose 3-4 young guys having trouble getting in the top 2, some LB being passed by younger guys.

What a great problem to have.
This team has turned the corner and really shows no weaknesses. I never look forward going up against Georgia. It is that big a task.

I'm not a UGA homer, but I laid 8 bets and 7 won. The only won that didn't was a bit of a TCU hedge tease of TCU +21.5/U69.5. It was a good day to be an SEC fan and a good day to wager.

Congrats Grumpy. We were pulling for your Dawgs. While I’m a UK grad and my kids are huge UK sports fans, one of our daughters is a UGA grad, a former member of the UGA compliance staff and she bleeds both blue and red. Y’all made the SEC look good once again.

I know that day is coming, but when that day comes, take out the vols too.

Next season will be interesting lots of new faces on every team.
