The way that the hire goes, is that the guys not getting the job get a day or two or three to say that they turned it down, before the guy being hired is announced. It's the way the process works.

Dude, any dl coach that gets to this level can coach 3-4, 4-3 or even 5-2.


I can just see it know. Texas on the OU two yard line and our new 3-4 defensive line coach starts pulling his hair out because he doesn't have a clue to bring a five man line to defend it................LOL

Personally, I would love to see an aggressive guy coaching the D line. Bob will make a good hire just like he did with Montgomery.

bc has a man crush on Calvin Thibodeaux (sp?). apparently playing for OU makes you the best choice regardless that you have the least amount of experience of coaches named to be likely candidates. it's the intangibles ya know, former Sooner, John Blake showed everyone how well that worked. Stoops and OU can do much better than CT.
