unc won today which I'm sure all of you know. Went over to thr to check out their game thread and you would have thought they lost because of the awful officiating. Even when they win they complain. They complained during and after. Amazing just amazing to me. Their fan base is unbelievable. They think all calls against them are wrong. It just blows my mind. No matter what happens Thursday night they are gonna cry about the officiating. I know the officials blow calls but crying about it is not gonna change things. I hope we win by 50 plus so even if unc gets a bad call or two it won't make a difference. I hope this fan base if we get beat we don't use poor officiating as a reason to lose. I'm not naive enough to that we are gonna get some bad calls every game just like every one else will. I lust hope we have a little more class about it than heel fans do. Bad officiating is part of the game. I'm more concerned about Grayson being targeted by the unc players than the officials blowing calls. That's my take and I do respect all of you and your take on this. OFC

They're beyond delusional over at THR. If they would've lost they would've blamed the loss on officiating as well as the game being postponed a day and moved to Greensboro
I saw that too, sky and posted one of those idiot's responses in the fav quotes thread. Even when they win they win "in spite of the refs". Ha ha haaaaaa. And the Holes, as well as most of the ACC, are lucky ND has no inside game whatsoever. Their lack of size just kills them against some teams.
I would like to think we as a fan base are bigger and better than that. OFC

Well here's my take on beating the Holes: First on the defensive end, limit Berry and don't get killed on the boards. Offensively in my opinion we need Grayson to be as solid as he has been during this 3 game win streak, that's where Duke is most effective, Duke goes as Grayson goes. Solid games out of Kennard and Tatum. To me these 3 are top 3 options. Jefferson, Jackson and Giles, if they contribute then that's icing on the cake. Go kick their a**!!!
We are....ESPN knows they can get away with their slimeball attack against us because its very popular to hate the Blue Devils.As far as UNC targeting Grayson, I would put NOTHING past Roy. The man is a liar, a cheat and will do anything to win.

Defense on Barry and Jackson will be key.
UNC will score in the paint We don't have the bigs to match their inside players especially if Tatum is on Hicks.
Rebounding is a must and limiting them to second chance points.
Duke will need a big game out of Grayson, Luke and Tatum along with some bench scoring to win this game.
UNC will go all in on Grayson and Tatum. You get those two off the floor who scores with Luke?
Bolden and Giles need to come to life to help out in the paint and I actually see no UNC guard that can stop Jackson when he attacks the basket would like to see him start again

Good points! Defense on Berry and Jackson very key. Jackson likes to sneak around perimeter, pick his spots and never met a shot he didnt like. Hes a great player, and we have to have a great awareness of him. Barry is deadly too, and I think maybe Frank stays with him better than Matt, especially if Matt's ankle isnt 100%. Yeah they will be tough to to stop on the blocks, and we do need some key minutes from reserve bigs as I see starting bigs getting some early fouls. Limiting 2nd shots is crucial, otherwise you'll hear Bilas at some point say "Carolina's best offense is sometimes a missed shot because they rebound so well."
Offensively, I see signs of improvement in Tatum recently letting game come to him like at Notre Dame, and his 3 pointers from corner 2nd half yesterday. I think he's a difficult matchup for them...I see him able to draw fouls on anybody they throw at him if he plays smart-be it Hicks, Bradley, Maye....Kennard needs to have a better game than yesterday for us to win. I am confident he will. Remember we were 1-1 vs UNC last year, WITHOUT Amile...."OUR HOUSE, "DEVILS!
