About 9 hours until West Virginia has to step in the ring.

Re: GYER36-0

Geese...

Think for the most part Greenburg does a very solid job. Sure you're going to disagree with an analyst from time to time because they're are on tv plus radio what seems like 4 days/nights per week for almost 6 months straight. Plus some of what you may disagree with is a simple difference of opinion.

On another note.. You sure seem like a miserable person on here. Always snippy. Passive aggressive about this team. Angry. You don't seem like this in person. Just wondering.

Waiting on the go to ..K. Thanks.

Update: the lass checked her turbo-platinum extry VIP baller millenium presidents club source with Marriott, and the Fairfield Inn is available in downtown Indy.

$1400/night.

Crazy as it sounds, we're pretty much going to make a run at this thing -- via Chicago (3 hours away). My *** isn't staying 30 minutes outside of town for $300/night in a gd Comfort Inn.

Direct flight to Chitown. Drive in for both games. Marcus.

You're gonna drive back to Chicago after each game? Why not fly to Louisville or Cincy, stay with a Wildcat friend there and drive the shorter distance?

I mean, I really just don't like Ashley Judd. I don't give a **** if that ruffles any feathers.

Buster Douglas / Mike Tyson (ESPN and blowhards)

or

Larra Holm (in Trevor Berbick's voice) / Randall "Tex" Cobb (common sense folks)

I will go with Larra / Cobb. A complete beatdown.

I want UK to come out the gate 8/10 -0 like they did against Arky and take their will to compete away from them. Just send a message, "ND / Wichita State, (we give no touches which one of you) don't even get involved, keep your mouth shut, don't run your cockholster to the media, and we might go easy on you in the region finals" type display.

Had entertained that thought as well. Still an option. Finding somewhere in Indy is, too. But.....marcus. Yeah, there were other factors, but marcus.

Re: GYER36-0

How about 3 years ago after we beat Iowa St in the second game of the tourney... Judd visits the locker room and then Terrence Jones' phone goes missing. All of a sudden Judd realizes she has it and she was already 45 minutes out of town on her way back to Nashville.

Wtf was that all about?

Or that same year the fellas on the team were all tweeting each other about eating lunch at Hoots... Judd starts tweeting them while providing a lecture on the sexism affiliated with Hoots. You stupid, *****, they're broke college kids and wanted to some wings while staring at tits.

There's also the stink she tried to make about Wildcat "Coal" Lodge until
Cal basically told her if she didn't like it then to write the check for the place. Stupid **** is from Eastern Kentucky after all.

Got no time for Judd.

One thing GYERO should pat itself on the back for is that many - if not all - of us predicted after the Bahamas trip that Tyler Ulis would end up being a guy we simply can't keep off the court. So, good job, college basketballs.

Yeah. Of course, Booker's slump has helped that out a lot as well.

It's hard for me to take Ashley Judd's fandom seriously when Montgomery Gentry are clearly much, much bigger fans. Bigger celebrities, too. BBN should be awfully proud of those two hometown heroes.

For a guy that made ONE Final Four during his 16 years at UC, Bob Huggins is still absolutely worshipped up here. You'd think UK is playing UC again tonight.

Maybe, but I suspect that it would have turned out this way anyway. Ulis is just too damn smart and dependable. You put him out there and don't have to worry about anything. He's a security blanket.

Appreciate the concern though. Just ready to get this thing over with. These crazy expectations and historic implications that have come along with this season have absolutely made each game slightly more miserable than the last (OBVIOUSLY, RIGHT?!).

Just win, baby.

K?

Re: GYER36-0

These last few weeks have not been enjoyable in the least, if we're all being honest with ourselves. Every damn game has been stressful as hell. March Madness, at its core, represents misery - whether it's the misery of defeat or the misery of suffering through each game. This is probably not a healthy way to view things.

I'm just as nervous as anyone else, but if you really aren't/can't enjoy this season, what is wrong with you?

I said it wasn't a healthy perspective. I blame law school. It has conditioned me to view every single thing in life in this context: "How can this end poorly?"

I'm all for the confidence we've got going but all this Indy talk, specifically acting as if it is already a done deal, has me a little concerned.

Re: GYER36-0

I've seen us win titles in '96, '98, and '12. Was on campus for one of those. This season has just been a wild ride. Cal is on the 5 year grace period for me. I've loved every minute of last year's run and this year. Yeah it sucked losing to UConn, but put it in perspective. Breathe this in. We may never see something like this again. I just have a ****-eating grin every game. I'm cool as can be. I feel the same way I did in '12. We have it. It's the tourney, and **** happens, but there's this air of inevitability. '12 may have been as arguably talented as this team and Davis was heaped with nearly, NEARLY, as much pressure going into that tourney and he delivered. Didn't hit a damn fg in that last game and the badass delivered.

That same aura? It's around this team too. You see the history happening. Now kick back and enjoy.

I thought that was Engineering school that taught you the "how can this end poorly" concept?

Don't worry, Chief. Don't think anyone from GYERO is playing tonight.

I was talking about Geese- who is one of the nicer, more positive dudes from this crew in real life and a fairly "relaxed" guy to watch a big game with, as well. Just seems like he hasn't really taken to this entire season. I don't get it.

When you're a hot young piece of Ace, you can do what you want and people will turn a blind eye.

When you're pushing 50, you're not that cute anymore.

Time for a new Ashley.

Pretty much.

I definitely *get* why 1978 was known as the 'Season Without Celebration' now. I mean, I always knew why... but we've gone past the point of no return now at 36-0. It's unbelievable..

Then over the next 10 days? Grief.

Definitely going to be a little pre-game diarrhea, elevated blood pressure, and muttered cursing on the agenda tonight, to be topped off with some post-game insomnia and hate-surfing/posting, win or lose. I'm a grown man with a family!

Was just about to post that. Didn't like the guy but that is a nice move.

Hopefully it is some sort of minor NCAA violation.
