Had a Surreal Dream Last Night About 24/25 Season

I had an insanely vivid dream last night about the 24-25 season. It was so surreal. When I woke up, I was super confused. It was like a lot of scenes that kind of went together. A lot happened.

Here is what I remember of it...

  • We got Jaxon Robinson but missed out on Lanier
  • We go 24-11 ( I think )
  • We beat Gonzaga by 14
  • We Beat Duke by a last second 3 by Chandler ( Game of the Year, no one lead more than 5 points )
  • Alabama sweeps us
  • Beat UofL by 9
  • 1 & 1 with Tennessee
  • Beat Texas by 1 in OT
  • Sweep Arkansas
    • Beat Arkansas at Rupp by 27
    • I was at this game and there was a lot of boos for Cal
  • St. Johns beats us by 10 ( Only loss at Rupp, aka Smith goes for 21 pts, 11 assist, 7 steals and 8 rebounds )
  • Florida Sweeps us
  • Have a bad loss at Vanderbilt, lose by 29
  • Have a bad loss at Ole Miss, lose by 17
  • 1 & 1 with Auburn
  • We lose to Ohio State by 4 ( bad calls and foul trouble )
  • We go 4th in the SEC
  • Win 2 games in the SECT T
  • We get a 5 Seed
    • We are in UConn's bracket
    • We Beat Uconn by 2 in triple OT in Sweet 16 ( Would never happen )
    • We get beat by the #2 Seed Illinois by 7 ( Can't hit 3's in second half )

Would be a hell of a season if this came to pass. A lot of good and some bad.

We go 1-1 with a lot of teams but you wrote this.

  • St. Johns beats us by 10 ( Only loss at Rupp, aka Smith goes for 21 pts, 11 assist, 7 steals and 8 rebounds )

I dreamed all of a TOS episode and remembered it well enough to scribble down about that amount of detail before it faded. Paul McCartney dreamed Yesterday. Coleridge dreamed Kubla Khan.

I had a waking dream of the season today at Clark County Regional Hospital. Wife was having tests. Was there for 4 hours.
We go 40 -0. Closest game was UK by 17 pts. We beat UConn in championship game by 25.

Guess what, neither means a dang thing. No matter how bad we want a win or wins, it does not matter.

Prep for game needs to be spot on.
What matters is if our coach has his head in the game coaching his tail off.
All players need to play 110% for the full game.
Guys need to trust the process and execute the game plan.
Need a little luck along the way.

Fans need to Cheer like its 1998 (was some of the loudest and proudest I can remember in a long time).
Sit back. Wait on the news. Trust the Coaches, trust the players will go hard every day.
Then have a blast this upcoming season.

I literally don't do any drugs or smoke. I have had vivid dreams like this since I was a kid.

you must have started taking a new blended version of Melatonin to have that detailed of a dream.

Shortly after Pope was hired, I had a dream about the SEC Tournament. Don't know which round it was.

We were playing Arkansas and wearing white jerseys. I was there. We were up 17 with a minute to go and I stood up and yelled, "Squeal like a pig, boy" at Cal.

That's all I remember.

I had a terrible dream last night. Only lasted a few seconds. But a player got injured under the basket. I couldn't see uniforms. So I don't know what team it was or who the player was.
But Cal came on the court to check on the player and he collapsed and died on the court. Weird terrible dream.

I love Melatonin's ability to knock me out, but does anyone wake up from that stuff with discolored post-nasal drip (or whatever it is), and a gummy residue in their mouth? I snore like a weed eater :(

I don't recommend that others do this if they have really bad GERD like I do, but whenever I eat a bowl of cereal and lay down afterwards I have vivid dreams.
