Like a college football player should go into a season with losses already in his mental column of wins/losses? Kids should come out being confident....unrealistic or not.

I'm pretty sure codys day in the spotlight came when everyone laughed at his titty jiggle at the combine, and we all know uk fans are only worried about drafts, so....
Big Matt will be a living legend in this state for years to come. He had Saban landing his copter in his front yard begging him to go to bama, for goodness sake. He may be the biggest and strongest players in all of football. He will be a one man wrecking crew that will require 3 or 4 Offensive linemen to just slow him down. I wont be surprised if Stoops runs a 1-5-5 defense at times with Big Matt as the only down lineman. He knows what is about to go down, that's why he is predicting an undefeated season, it would be wise to listen to the man.

I don't have a problem with players being confident, but it's probably a bad idea to broadcast it on Twitter. At least not until you've done something on the football field.
When you're a team like UK with the kind of seasons most of your players have had over the past 3 years, it's best to take on an attitude of quiet confidence and hope you can sneak up on people. Any coach that is afraid his team will overlook UK can just pull out this bulletin board material to get his team focused.

Oh dear Lord! Please bless this sad little guy's heart. He will be so wrecked in no more than 6 weeks from now when his team is already scrapping the play book and discussing how they can revive their hopes for a winning season. Please pray for this guy not to take it too personally when Elam is benched for attitude problems, poor conditioning and lack of ability as he's put on his backside numerous times in several games or left running behind the rest of the team as they chase after rushers in the open field about to score...yet again. The only way I can picture Elam is GASSED!
If you think Elam is the second coming of Warren Sapp or Ironhead Hayward you better brace yourelf. Your hopes are going to be dashed against the rocks numerous times over that one. Imagine a football franchise looking this forward to a new season that they will entertain any subject, including those involving our rivals. The fact is, the talk has been riginating from UK fans, as the Elam Thread testifies. You guys have spent the off season warning us that the tide is turning in UK's favor. By now - or at least up until national pundits began giving UofL props - it was nearly unanimous down there that UofL was toast at your place.
We tend to notice when you all take off on off season masturbations. Sadly, it is a repetitive process.
