I'm just waiting for Glenn Watson to announce he's leaving as well and the disembowelment will be complete with the basketball team.

No inside info but wouldn't surprise me if Roby left. He looked like a scared "Deer in the Headlights" when miles was verbally undressing him on the sidelines during games for mistakes. He did not look comfortable on or off the court, played tight. Maybe Freshman nerves or just too scared of making a mistake. I will ask around the Dixon area and see if anyone has heard anything. Still have a couple friends there but they are not huge hoops fans. I lived in Dixon, IL when he was a Freshman and Sophomore at Dixon High School. Good kid, even back then you could see he was a graceful athlete that could be special once he matured and grew into his body.
Man...Is Dixon starting to sort of fall apart a bit? I see it when I drive back to Chicago and it just looks like it is run down.
Roby's dad posts on Husker Hoops Central and stated he has never thought about leaving. I'd expect him to be back. There are some rumors about Jacobsen and Watson leaving though.
I'm waiting to see if Nana Akenten announces he wants released from his scholarship. I'd have to think he noticed when a recent Chicago area high school star announces he is leaving Nebraska.
Dixon is Dixon. Just a small town that has a serious aging problem with the residents and infrastructure. Older people have the money and they are dying off. Plus they had the city official Rita Crundwell who stole like $45,000,000 from them over like 10 years which really set them back. The under 45 yr and younger crowd is not highly educated. If you don't have a government job, work at the hospital or one of the few white collar jobs you are probably making around $30,000/yr. I moved there because my daughters mom moved back there as she grew up there. Found the people to be very simple and nice however not very ambitious when it came to self improvement or working. Can't tell you how many times I would meet people and after talking to them for a couple minutes they would say "you are not from around here and I can tell cuz you know stuff". Basically most of the people there just live there because they were born there and don't know any different.
I hope that doesn't happen but if it does, he was basically Mike Peltz anyway.
