What a truly sad statement it is on the state of our society when major D1 programs like Michigan, North Carolina, Duke, UT, aTm, and Kansas get caught cheating and....not only does nothing happen to them....but people don't even seem to care anymore. Guess I'm just a wise old man now.
Rowland or Matt Jones? Who’s first to tweet that Vince is a serious candidate for Michigan if Harbaugh leaves?
Knoxville fired their coach + the entire staff + AD, didn't pay them anything because they were cheating so blatantly, openly told ncaa everything.....and won't even get a bowl ban or weak recruiting limitsWhat a truly sad statement it is on the state of our society when major D1 programs like Michigan, North Carolina, Duke and Kansas get caught cheating and....not only does nothing happen to them....but people don't even seem to care anymore. suckass tennessee football got away with murder as well.I would just tell the ncaa to kick rocks. They have no power. Whatever Kansas did in basketball is what I would do; sue or whatever that may be.
Has nothing to do with his NFL interest. First, literally nothing will come of this violation as noted before the NCAA has no teeth (ask Bill Self). Secondly, Harbaugh's flirtation with the NFL is because he still has a fascination to get back in there. Will he go to the NFL? I'm not sure, because I actually think the reason he doesn't completely slam all the rumors is because he loves keeping his name and the Michigan brand alive and being front and center at a time it would have been dead for several months.Ah. Now I get the NFL interest
Michigan can have him if expects more money for his 7-6 season. Then our offensive minded coach will be able to hire him as our DC on the cheap when he's fired 3 years into his tenure.Stoops is a serious candidate!
Per all UK writers, probably
Jimmy Sexton ready for another payday
Right. Explain that to James Ramsey, Tom Jurich, Graham Spanier, Jerry Sandusky, Butch Davis, Jeremy Pruitt, Will Wade, and Sean Miller.I would just tell the ncaa to kick rocks. They have no power.

You are right in saying that expenses of prior litigations have had an effect on NCAA budgeting. But the most expensive litigations have involved the NCAA as a defendant, not the plaintiff. The O'Bannon case, for example. The NCAA has not stopped enforcement of the rules. This notice of as allegations against MI is just the latest example. In recent years, James Ramsey, Tom Jurich, Donnie Tyndall, Jetemy Pruitt, Will Wade, and others have seen their careers end because of NCAA enforcement. Chuck Person has been found guilty of a felony for conspiring to violate the rules. So I don't think telling the NCAA to pound rocks would be a very good idea. Schools still have to obey the rules.Limited support from the university. If the university backs them, the NCA(fraud) doesn’t have enough resources (money for litigation) to even take a single peanut if the university wants to push it to the limit.
Really? You are right in saying that expenses of prior litigations have had an effect on NCAA budgeting. But the most expensive litigations have involved the NCAA as a defendant, not the plaintiff. I don't appreciate being called a joke, especially when my accuser can't read English. Show me where I said the NCAA punishes every violation. Show me where I said the NCAA is fair. I didn't. I said you can't just ignore the rules or tell the NCAA to pound rocks, because there are plenty of examples where the NCAA is still killing coaching and administrative careers of violators. I gave valid examples to illustrate the point. If you have a problem with the NCAA, call them and tell them, rather than unloading on other fans. You should read what people say before you call them a joke, or else the joke is on you.Really?
Kansas, UNCheat, Tennessee, UofL are just a few of the big time programs that just recently skated away without any serious penalties for gross violations. In UofL's case, they were already on probation when they tried to pay a player $100K! Those programs haven't been penalized whatsoever. Kansas just won a national championship and is in the hunt for another. Tennessee just flirted with the CFP and face no future penalties.
Tell us again how schools "have to obey the rules". LOL! The NCAA is a joke and so is your assertion.
Knoxville fired their coach + the entire staff + AD, didn't pay them anything because they were cheating so blatantly, openly told ncaa everything.....and won't even get a bowl ban or weak recruiting limits
You literally said "schools still have to obey the rules.". I gave several recent examples proving that is clearly not true. Perhaps you should proof read your posts before you upload them?I don't appreciate being called a joke, especially when my accuser can't read English. Look in a mirror. Rifling other people's posts to find one sentence you can take in your own chosen context and trash them for is really sad behavior. Nobody on this board has done anything to you. If you are angry at the NCAA, then call them and tell them. But don't dump on other fans and make an *** of yourself on our fan board just because you have an anger issue. You literally said "schools still have to obey the rules.". I don't have a problem with the NCAA. That organization is now a joke and basically on life support. I don't even give them a second thought anymore. You're giving the NCAA far too much credit and admonishing other posters for expressing the reality of a organization that has no teeth.
The days of vacating titles, wins or post season bans are long gone. No one has any fear of that stuff anymore. This isn't 1989. Get your head out of the sand.
YOU typed the line I quoted. Not me. Look in your own mirror. Maybe take a reading comprehension course as well. I do not care one iota about the NCAA. They are meaningless. Programs have figured out how to legally get around any potential violations. Plus, the money basketball and football bring excludes limiting revenue that the big programs bring in.Look in a mirror. So they should’ve lied to the NCAA instead?Vols gave the model how to beat this and not pay the people they fired.
They deserved to get thier teeth kicked in by South Carolina and miss the CFP.
Here is 2 more karma in the coming years.
All I said is that Harbaugh should not tell the NCAA to pound rocks, and I gave my reasons. For some unknown reason, you are so angry at the NCAA that you must turn your anger on other UK fans. Can you see what you are doing by insisting on making this thread about a football issue into your misdirected attack on a fan? I guess not. You aren't the only poster who does this, but it really screws up the board for the rest of us who just want to discuss football. I guess that makes you happy. Good for you, and happy new year.YOU typed the line I quoted. Not me. Look in your own mirror. Maybe take a reading comprehension course as well. I do not care one iota about the NCAA. You're afraid of ghosts and shadows of the past.
Also, please stop gaslighting me in your posts. None of that crap you are attributing to me is accurate.
You obviously have some kind of reading or learning disorder.
