I don’t post much..just a reader. But I was about to get ready for work this morning and got phone call from my moms aunt to inform me that my mom has passed away unexpectedly. Make matters worst that they suspected she had passed away earlier in the week in her home before anyone knew. The smell was unbearable even me standing outside her home. And today’s my oldest brother birthday. Call to him was dreadful to let him know what has happened on his day.

That is terrible, sorry for your loss. Same thing happened to one of my best friends who found out his brother (who lived alone) had died probably a week earlier. Was just a brutal experience to have to clean out his apartment.

Losing a parent is never easy for most people and especially if it is unexpected. My mother died unexpectedly six years ago this coming Thursday and sometimes it still doesn't seem real. God bless you Pattyice.
